What if everything we make is made to be left behind. An Empress lived on this land near the Estuary, in a temple of gold, windows of diamonds and a big dome roof made of Spinel. They say a phoenix made of clay guards the land while she is away. If you look in the trees you'll see ribbons where she would tie her aquamarine eye pendant over the river to listen and attune to where the pearls are amongst the sea, not far away.

Some people think she is gone for a bit, in the mountains and hills above the clouds, returning sometimes to be with the phoenix and the river. Some people think she's always there. And some people can't see any of it, except for moments where they may find her treasures left behind.
